Dear Dimmick Staff and Families,
The Dimmick Community Consolidated School District #175 Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Joel Foster as the new Principal, effective July 1, 2025.
Mr. Foster has been with Dimmick School for 20 years serving as a Physical Education and Social Emotional Teacher, Athletic Director, Head Boys’ Basketball and Track Coach, Lead Teacher, Dimmick Dash & Dimmick FIT Co-Founder, and Member of the Student Wellness and Assistance Team.
In his 20 years of experience in education, coaching, and leadership, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to student success emphasizing the importance and impact of positive relationships and connections with students and parents.
Mr. Foster resides in Cherry with his wife Erin and three kids, Jack, James, and Eve. He earned his Bachelors’ Degree in 2004 from Illinois State University and his Masters’ Degree and Type 75 Certificate from Aurora University in May of 2014.
