Dear Dimmick Families,
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8-12. We want to recognize and commend our impressive team at Dimmick for all they do to ensure our school is a place where students are engaged in learning experiences that allow them to grow and achieve their dreams.
Our teachers and staff invest their time and energy because they believe in our students, want what is best for them, and know that they have the ability to accomplish great things. Education is what provides our children with choices and opportunities in life. The more we invest now, the greater the return down the road. We ask that parents help honor and support the work of our teachers by making their child’s education a top priority. When we value their work, we let them know that what they do really matters.
We want to recognize this year’s recipients of the LaSalle County Educator Excellence Awards for all they do to ensure that Dimmick remains an area leader in education. Congratulations and thank you to Carol Wineinger, Mallory Bima, Kim Groleau, and Vanessa Kelly. We also want to thank Michelle Rich for 12 years of service on the Board of Education and Gina Mudge for 20 years of service. Excellence is contagious and your work serves to elevate us all.
We also want to wish Carol and Kim the very best as they move on to the next phase of life and enjoy many happy and healthy years in retirement. You have certainly earned it and we will miss you!
Thank you to our team for your commitment and dedication to supporting our students, staff, and school community. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!
Mr. Linnig, Superintendent
Dr. Rossman, Principal
