Dear Dimmick Families,
At this time, pending no significant changes with COVID, we plan to have families join us in person, for the K-4/Band Holiday Program on Tuesday, December 14 at 6:00PM. This will give our students the opportunity to use our new stage for the first time. Should conditions change that warrant cancellation, our backup plan would be to record the program during the school day and share the link with families. Each family can have up to 8 guests in attendance total. The total of 8 does not include students performing in the program who will be seated with their classes.
The main doors (#1) will be open starting at 5:00PM. All K-4 and band students need to be at the school and in their homerooms no later than 5:40PM. We ask that all guests please arrive by 5:50 and so that there is adequate time to find a seat and get settled before the program begins. The front doors will be locked at 6:00PM so if some arrives late, the only entrance available will be the double doors going into the gym on the west side marked door (#2).
All guests must wear masks at all times when in the building, no exceptions. We ask that everyone silence or turn off your cell phones and turn off your Wi-Fi once the program begins so that there are no interruptions or interference with the audio system. The front hallway will be closed off while the program is going on. Restrooms will be available in the locker rooms on the south end of the gym.
All students will need to remain with their classes from the time they arrive until the conclusion of the program. At that time, they will return to their classrooms where parents can pick them up.
Should there be any changes to our plan, we will be sure to let you know. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you at the program.
