Mrs. Goodbred, Mrs. Zielinski and the 8th grade ELA class recently completed their Holocaust unit and as a culminating project have chosen to complete an Upstander Project. After much discussion about what an upstander is and the current situation in the Ukraine, the students have chosen to reach out to local businesses to assist them in a change drive.
We have secured several local, small businesses and they will have a donation container in their business from March 18th-April 8th. All proceeds will be donated to Savethechildren.org which will provide kids in the Ukraine with much needed resources and support.
If you are out and about and would like to support our cause or could share the news, we would greatly appreciate it. The local businesses are Meraki Beauty Room, Hammers Hearing, The Grove, Wallace Center for Hearing, JB Contracting and Rephil's.
