Schedules:

For all schedules and practices please view the main calendar. Please note that schedules will be added to the calender when they are given from the coach. - Click Here

 

Sports & Extracurricular Activities offered at Dimmick:

    

Girls' & Boys Basketball - 6th-8th Grades (5th to be determined annually)

Cheerleading - 7th-8th Grade (6th to be determined annually)

Girls' Volleyball - 6th-8th (5th to be determined annually)

Boys' & Girls' Track -  5th-8th Grades

Scholastic Bowl - 7th-8th Grades (5th to be determined annually)

Band - 4th-8th Grades

Peer Mediation - 7th-8th Grades (By teacher recommendation)

Student Council - 5th-8th Grades (Elections will be held)

School Play - (Participation may be mandatory if considered prat of the school requirements or elective and determined by casting needs)

Girls' Softball -  7th-8th Grades (Cooperative with Holy Cross & Waltham)

Boys' Softball - 7th-8th Grades (Cooperative with Holy Cross & Waltham)

 

 

Establishing Teams (A, B & C):

    • If 10 or more 8th Grade students go out for basketball or volleyball, no students from lower grades will be moved up.
    • If 10 or more 7th grade students go out for basketball or volleyball, no students from the lower grades will be moved up.
    • If none of the students are moved up, then 6th and 5th when permitted to participate will make up the "C" team.
    • If the "A" and or "B" teams lack the minimum of 10 athletes, it will be up to the coach to decide whether they want to move students up to fill a 10 athlete roster.

 

 

CPR and AED Video:

State law requires the Illinois High School Association to post a hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillators training video on its website. The law also requires the District to notify staff members and parents/guardians about the video. You are encouraged to view the video, which will take less than 15 minutes of your time, at:
