Softball or Baseball Co-op

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We want to make you aware that the Board of Education recently approved an agreement that will allow 7th and 8th grade students to participate in a softball or baseball cooperative starting with the 2017-18 school year. While interest surveys indicated that we didn't have the numbers to sustain these extracurricular programs independently, we were fortunate to be approached by Mendota Holy Cross and Waltham about starting a cooperative. As a result, we will be able to offer softball for girls' in grades 7 and 8 with Mendota Holy Cross and baseball for boys' in grades 7 and 8 with Mendota Holy Cross and Waltham.

There is an informational meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 9 at 6:00PM in the Dimmick School Gym for all students and parents interested in participating. We hope that this cooperative will allows us to expand opportunities to our students that otherwise wouldn't be possible. If you have any questions regarding the baseball or softball cooperative, please contact either Mr. Foster or Mr. Linnig.
