Egg Drop.. Success!

On Tuesday, March 27th Dimmick Schools 4th and 5th grade students were able to put their science experiments to the ultimate test! Students were assigned to build an egg container to protect a large raw egg from a 40 foot drop from the top of a ladder truck provided by the City of Peru Fire Department. Students were very creative using different materials, like Peeps, a bag of popcorn, shopping bags for parachutes, etc. The was a combined total of 39 projects and only 15 eggs broke. Below are some pictures of the success our students had. We would like to thank the City of Peru Fire Department for taking the time and coming out to support our students on their science experiments.
